Bridgewater, well known as the largest commercial centre in the South Shore, is a strong service provider for a primary market of 49,400 and a trading population base of 75,000. Bridgewater also houses many major Federal and Provincial Government offices, which makes doing business here convenient and easy.
Shelburne was the 4th largest city in North America when, in 1783, 10,000 United Empire Loyalists arrived in ships from New York City. Now a popular tourist destination, the town has a restored historic district with a museum complex which recounts the town's rich history. Shelburne continues to be home to a very strong and vibrant fishing industry.
Halifax, formally the Halifax Regional Municipality, is the capital of the province of Nova Scotia, Canada. The metropolitan area had a population of 390,096 in 2011 with 297,943 in the urban area centred around Halifax Harbour.
Liverpool is a Canadian community and former town located along the Atlantic Ocean of the Province of Nova Scotia's South Shore. It is situated within the Region of Queens Municipality which is the local governmental unit that comprises all of Queens County, Nova Scotia.
The Village of Chester, approximately fifty miles west of Halifax is situated on a tree-clustered peninsula overlooking beautiful Mahone Bay and its many islands. Since the sea gives Chester its character, yacht racing has been a major summer sport in Chester for well over 150 years.
